Schwartz Engineering Company, also known as SEC,
was formed in 1985 to provide aircraft engineering and consulting services to
the worldwide Business and General Aviation communities. The company is
owned and managed by Peter A. Schwartz, Jr., a Registered
Professional Engineer and FAA Structural DER.
Currently SEC is concentrating its efforts
on its STC and PMA business. We hold over twenty STC’s
and PMA for three products, including a Multi-Zone control zone for the Boeing
B737-700 IGW (BBJ), and supplemental passenger O2 systems for all-cargo
configured DC-10, MD-10, and MD-11 aircraft.
NEW PROJECTS
Schwartz Engineering, in conjunction with Ed Johnstone (FAA DER &
PE), has developed a revolutionary wing tip (VORTEN) that modifies the vortex to
achieve greatly improved climb performance for the
Piper PA-28 series aircraft. We are in the certification process and progress
will be documented on this site.
Lightweight wheel pants
for the PA-28, made from pre-preg fiberglass, have
been developed and will be available soon.
